Introduction

CSI Valkenswaard is a first class outdoor tournament which contains Horse Festival and International Concours Vakenswaard. The first two weekends are called the Horse Festival which takes place from August 25 till 27 and July 31 till august 2 2008, and will be organised for the fifth time. Horse Festival Valkenswaard is a beautifull event where professional riders and amateurs can ride. Every day there are two special invitational classes for amateurs and four international classes, which includes a class for 6-7 years old horses.

There are classes for Amateurs every day of 1.15-1.20m en 1.25m-1.35m. All amateurs are qualified to compete at the International Concours Valkenswaard, ranked third on the world ranking list of best outdoor showjumping events, taking place from July 31th till August 3th 2008.

The offered facilities on the grounds of Stal Tops in Valkenswaard are excellent and include:

Grass arena with natural fences and drainage
Grass arena with drainage
Sand arena with all weather surface

Three warm up areas with all weather surface, of which one covered
Completely molted stablegrounds
Permanent lounge circels
VIP area with reserved tables and excellent catering

The natural arenas, the surrounding buildings and the rural environment creates a wonderfull and relaxed atmosphere. The organizing committee will do everything in it’s power to provide the best possible facilities for top showjumping sport.

The Horse Festival Valkenswaard is a great possibility for amateurs to gain international experience.

Showground of the Horse Festival A 60 x 93m grass arena with drainage and two natural ditches, a 60 x 30m sand practice arena. A sandarena of 60 x 50m with two sand practice areas, 38 x 76m of which one covered with direct access to stable area, place du concours, VIP loge and natural stands.
The rural environment will be even more noticed by the beautiful surrounding of nature, the natural arena’s and the surrounding buildings. It will be unique to have everything from the stables till the Grand Prix arena on the same grounds at walking distance.

The Horse Festival Valkenswaard is initiated to give more riders the possibility to compete under good conditions.

Last year 320 stables where used during the Horse Festival. The stables are approx 9m². In the stable area permanent water, electricity, fenxes and lights are established as well as four lounging circles and a race track. With these new developments we will try to increase the quality of the event even further.
During the Horse Festival there are stands in front of the practise area. Everyone can find here something from horse equipment to exclusive clothes. The stands are during our concours daily open from 9.00 till 18.00h.
 

The filosophy of the foundation is the same for the Horse Festival. Our show is a foundation an our filosophy is very important to us. Everything we do is for the sport. We want to promote our equestrian sport by making the best possible show for everybody (riders, horses, grooms, audience, sponsors, volunteers etc.)
We want to make a beautiful event with and for eachother and for our sport. Quality comes first in Valkenswaard.

We will do everything to organise an excellent event and to make everybody feel welcome and at home in Valkenswaard.
